Honoring Zulfikar Ali Bhutto: Sindh Government’s Announcement

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on April 4 to commemorate the death anniversary of the esteemed former prime minister and late Pakistan Peoples (PPP) founder, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Government Notification: April 4, 2024, Designated as Public Holiday

In an official notification, the provincial authorities expressed: “The Government of Sindh has decided to observe April 4, 2024 (Thursday) as a Public Holiday in honor of the 45th Martyrdom anniversary of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Ex-Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, across the Province of Sindh.”

Closure of Government Offices and Institutions

According to the notification, all government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative purview of the provincial government, except those involved in essential services, will remain closed on this day.
