Honoring Quaid-e-Azam: Public Holidays Announced in Sindh for Christmas and Founder’s Day

Karachi: In celebration of Quaid-e-Azam Day, the government of Sindh has officially declared December 25th as a public holiday.

In celebration of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birthday, all government and semi-government offices will remain closed on Monday, according to the notification.

On this day, municipal councils and other relevant authorities will observe a holiday.

This public holiday has been officially declared by the Department of Services, General Administration, and Coordination.

Additionally, a public holiday for Christmas Day, December 26, has been declared, with particular attention to people who are part of the “Masih Bari” community.

All local councils and authorities, together with all government and semi-government organizations, will be closed on this day.

It is noted that this vacation is closed to people who work for the Christian community. This has been officially announced by the Department of Services, General Administration, and Coordination.
